Today we continued our journey through the 7 churches. In Revelations 3, John writes to three specific early Christian communities - Laodecia, Philadelpia and Sardis. Laodecia was described as being "Luke warm." We saw the literal reason for this as it is positioned between the hot springs of Hierapolis (Pamukkale) and the cold mountain streams. In Laodecia, the ancient Romans literally mixed the two waters, hot and cold, via aqueducts so their water, like their faith was Luke warm.
